剛剛恢復政治權利不久的大陸維權人士胡佳，最近在接受媒體採訪時透露，北京當局曾經試圖以巨額資金收買他，要求他自認有罪，並放棄國際社會頒發的人權獎，但是被他拒絕。
據《大紀元》新聞網引述胡佳的話說，2008年，他還在監獄坐牢時，獲得「諾貝爾和平獎」提名，和歐洲議會頒發的「薩哈洛夫人權獎」，當時北京當局曾跟他提條件說，如果他發表聲明，說他身份不適合，那麼當局可以以保外就醫的名義放他回家，並且以雙倍的獎金給他作為補償。
「薩哈洛夫人權獎」獎金是5萬歐元，按照當時匯率大約是人民幣50萬元，雙倍相當於100萬元人民幣。胡佳說，這些錢都是納稅人的錢，他是不會接受的。
胡佳說，歐洲議會授予中國一個監獄中的維權人士一個獎項，讓中共感到在外交上下不來臺。中共外交部和公安部、政法委之間有溝通，給他一個人身自由和經濟上的利誘。不過，據胡佳介紹，連前來傳話的北京國保總隊長都認為，這種做法太骯髒。
2008年，胡佳遭北京當局以「煽動顛覆國家政權罪」判刑3年半，引起國際關注。同年，他被授予「薩哈洛夫精神自由獎」，這是歐洲議會的最高人權獎項。2011年6月26號胡佳出獄，但仍然受到超過200名公安全天候監視，阻止訪客探望。
陝西酒駕車禍引發群體事件
7月14號凌晨，陝西寶雞市發生一起因交通事故引發的群體事件。
一輛私家車司機因酒駕撞上出租車，私家車上的多名男子還毆打出租車司機，造成司機的眼部受傷。事件引起出租車同行的憤怒，數百出租車司機趕赴現場，堵路抗議，要求交出躲在警車內的打人兇手，造成交通癱瘓6小時。
據現場目擊者介紹，當局派出大批公安到現場，肇事司機躲進警車，聞訊趕來的三、四百出租車司機，將出租車停放在太白路和清姜路十字路口，堵塞4個路口，阻攔警察帶走打人的陳某和巨某，現場上千圍觀民眾和司機圍住警車，有6名警察被困在車內。最後，當局出動防爆隊到現場抓人、趕人，解救被困在車內6小時的警察。目前，有7名出租車司機被抓捕。
有網友評論說，是私家車車主酒駕加打人，警察不抓私家車車主反而抓出租車司機，難道只怪出租車司機他爸不是「李剛」嗎？

CCP Bribary, Hu Jia Reveals Inside Story
Chinese rights activist Hu Jia has recently
had his political rights restored.
Hu Jia told our NTD reporter that Beijing authorities tried
to bribe him with a large amount of money.
This bribe was to make him consider pleading guilty
and to give up the international human rights rewards. Hu Jia refused.
According to Hu’s words quoted in the Epoch Times,
when Hu was in prison in 2008, he was nominated
the Nobel Peace Prize and was awarded the Sakharov
human rights prize by the European Parliament.
At that time, Beijing authorities told him that if he declares
that he’s not appropriate for the prize, the authorities can
release him and compensate him with twice the prize money.
The Sakharov human rights prize was worth 50,000 EU,
about 500,000 RMB at that time.
Double of the price will be a million RMB.
Hu says that money is from the taxpayers,
so he wouldn’t accept it.
Hu said that a prize given from the European Parliament
to an imprisoned Chinese rights activist makes the CCP feel like it is losing face on foreign affairs.
According to Hu, even the General Chief of the Beijing
National Security who came to inform about the message felt that its approach was dirty.
In 2008, Hu Jia was sentenced to 3 years in prison
for 『inciting subversion of state power』.
This attracted international attention.
He was also awarded the Sakharov Prize
for Freedom of Thought.
This is the highest human rights
award from the European Parliament.
Hu Jia was released on June 26, but was monitored
all day by 200 public security officers.
Hu was not allowed to see visitors.
Drink Driving Accident Instigates Shaanxi Mass Tumult
Early morning on July 14, a mass tumult
caused by a traffic accident happened in Shaanxi.
A drunken private car driver hit a taxi.
He and other men stepped out of the car,
and beat the taxi driver, injuring his eyes.
This incident irritated other fellow taxi drivers.
Hundreds of taxi drivers came to site and blocked the road.
They asked the police to give out names
of the perpetrators, which lead to 6 hour traffic jams.
According to a witness, many public
security officers were dispatched.
The driver of the car escaped into a police car.
Over 300 taxi drivers parked their cars on
the intersection of Taibai Rd and Qingjiang Rd.
Four intersections were blocked.
They stopped the police taking
the perpetrators called Chen and Ju.
Thousands of people and drivers surrounded
the police cars, and six policemen were trapped inside.
Eventually, riot police were dispatched to arrest and disperse
people on site, and to rescue the six policemen.
Seven taxi drivers have been arrested so far.
A netizen commented that a drunk
car driver had beaten someone.
However, the police arrested taxi drivers
instead of the car driver.
Can we only complain that the taxi
driver’s father is not “Li Gang”?
