【新唐人2012年10月17日訊】日前，《新唐人》加拿大總裁獲加拿大政府頒發獎章，在這之前，本臺得到中共內部密件，其中指稱﹕《新唐人》對「薄王事件」做了最全面、最及時，也是最準確的預告。有評論人士認為，加拿大政府給予《新唐人》的獎勵雖然有些遲到，但這兩件事情從正、反兩面證明，這麼多年來，《新唐人》不被表面假象迷惑，堅持真實報導，贏得了社會的肯定。下面一起來看這則報導﹕
10月11號，《新唐人電視臺》加拿大總裁王紹久在多倫多獲「女王伊麗莎白二世鑽禧獎章（Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal）」，加拿大政府表彰《新唐人電視臺》持續曝光發生在中國大陸的踐踏人權行為，特別是堅持曝光中共迫害法輪功及活摘法輪功學員器官的惡行。同時獲獎的還有《大紀元時報》加拿大東部報社社長顧思穎。
紐約「民主大學」校長唐柏橋認為，這是一個遲到的正義。
紐約「民主大學」校長唐柏橋：「早就應該嘉獎《大紀元》、《新唐人》這些媒體，這些媒體經過十幾年的努力，能夠得到國際社會最高的承認，當然也是一件可喜的事情，雖然能早點來當然更好，至少我覺得會有更多的這種國際社會的認可、榮譽、正義人士的肯定，以及對法輪功學員反迫害的這種褒揚也會越來越多。」
「全球自由信息運動」創辦人張新宇認為，《新唐人》得獎有兩個原因。
「全球自由信息運動」創辦人張新宇：「首先說第一這得獎是必然的，電視專業這方面挺專業，第二，現在在中國，他是唯一不受某個黨或共產黨控制的媒體，他主要把握的是一個標準，那就是真，我覺得這樣一個電視臺應該是全世界所有的電視學習的榜樣。」
據唐柏橋了解，現在所有的華人都知道，要想知道王立軍、薄熙來事件的真相，非看《新唐人》、《大紀元》不可。
唐柏橋：「現在其他的親共媒體，以前貌似中立的媒體，他們還要看中共的臉色，《大紀元》、《新唐人》是唯一在華人媒體中獨立的，那麼這時《大紀元》、《新唐人》就佔了巨大的優勢，很多人也會給他們爆料，包括我本人也會給他們提供一些非常重要的內部消息，當然我的內部消息也是從太子黨或各種渠道得到的，得道多助，失道寡助嘛。 」
據唐柏橋觀察，有時《新唐人》的一個視屏在YOUMAKER上的點擊率達到幾十萬次之多，他說，王立軍、薄熙來事件以後，國內民眾尋找真相的願望越來越強大，越來越相信《大紀元》、《新唐人》這些正義媒體和微博的訊息。
另外，《新唐人》獲得一份中共內部秘密文件，內容點名《新唐人電視臺》等媒體，在今年「王立軍事件」發生後，「有組織、多渠道蒐集內部信息，對『薄王事件』做了最全面、最及時也是最準確的預告。」外電大多引用了這幾個媒體的消息，但更多中國民眾被他們的技術部門所謂成功封堵。
張新宇：「為了對付法輪功，對付《新唐人》，對付《大紀元》，(中共)立一個項目，這個隊伍龐大，做這個事情的人很多，所以比任何其他人還要更清楚，《新唐人》是甚麼電視臺，這一個文件也更加從反面證明，《新唐人》是應該獲這個獎的。」
獨立評論員李善鑑指出，過去中共一直想把《新唐人》邊緣化，用所謂「法輪功勾結國外反華勢力」來蠱惑民眾，現在中外對《新唐人》相同的肯定，中國人應該更加清楚了。
獨立評論員李善鑑：「咱們舉個例子，最近大陸有一個作家莫言得諾貝爾獎，那在沒得獎之前，把這個獎給了比如說高行健的時候，那諾貝爾獎這個委員會就是反華勢力，那現在給他之後，就不是反華勢力，我覺得這個原則很簡單，真正告訴你真相的人，一定是你應該相信的人。」
大陸文化評論家葉匡政認為，《新唐人》敢於報導中國的真相，再加上豐富的節目吸引了大眾，不過他表示，如果中共允許《新唐人》進大陸報導，節目會更加精彩。

NTD Television Received Public Affirmation
A few days ago, the Canadian government issued
a medal to the president of NTD Television – Canada.
Prior to this, NTD received some secretly issued
by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) documents.
They state, NTD provides the most comprehensive, timely
and accurate report on the Wang Lijun’ and Boi Xilai’s cases.
Commentators think the above facts from both sides prove,
NTD’s years of efforts in breaking through illusions,
and insisting on true stories won affirmation
from the society.
On October 11, the president of NTD Canada Wang Shaojiu
received Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in Toronto.
The Canadian government praised NTD’s consistent efforts
to expose human rights violations in China,
and especially the exposure of the crimes against Falun Gong
practitioners, and their live organ harvesting.
The president of Epoch Times Canada East, Gu Siying,
was also granted with this Award.
Tang Boqiao, president of New York ‘Democracy University’
believes this is a belated justice.
Tang Baiqiao: “This awards to Epoch Times (ET)
and NTD are long overdue.
After over a dozen of years of efforts, it is great that they
receive this high prize from the international community.
It would’ve been better if they were awarded earlier, which
would’ve meant more prizes and recognition by the international community.”
Global Information Freedom founder Zhang Xinyu
thinks there are two key reasons for this NTD Award.
Zhang Xinyu: “Firstly, it is logical for NTD to be awarded.
NTD is professional.
Secondly, it is the only Chinese media,
that is not controlled by the CCP.
It sticks to its standard of truthfulness. I think NTD
can be a role model for the TV stations around the world.”
According to Tang Baiqiao, the overseas Chinese know that
only ET and NTD report the truth on Wang and Bo’s cases.
Tang Baiqiao: “CCP-controlled media and those seemingly
neutral in the past actually all need to listen to the CCP.
Epoch Times and NTD are the only independent media.
At present, they have great advantages in that.
Many people provide information to them,
including myself.
My information is from different channels,
such as the ‘princelings’ group.
The righteous side gets ever growing support.”
Tang Baiqiao observes that some NTD clips on Youmaker
get hundreds of thousands of clicks.
He said after the Wang Lijun’ and Bo Xilai’s cases,
people in China have stronger wish to find the truth.
They are more likely to believe reports,
produced by Epoch Times and NTD.
In addition, recently NTD received a secret document,
issued by CCP in relation to the Wang Lijun case.
The document mentions that NTD and other media provide
the most comprehensive, timely and accurate reports on the Wang Lijun’ and Bo Xilai’s cases.
It explains that overseas media quotes information from them,
but many Chinese people are being blocked.
Zhang Xinyu: “In order to deal with Falun Gong, NTD
and ET, CCP started a project with a great number of people.
They know well what kind of TV station NTD is.
This also proves that NTD’s award is well deserved.”
Independent commentator Li Shanjian pointed out,
that in the past CCP tried to silence NTD.
It slandered it as “Falun Gong working
with anti-China forces” to fool people.
However, now people in China and abroad
are starting to see the truth and what NTD stands for.
Li Shanjian: “For example, recently Chinese writer Mo Yan
was awarded the Nobel price.
If the award was given to Gao Xingjian,
then the Nobel committee would be labeled ‘anti-China’.
Giving it to Mo Yan means they are not ‘anti-China’. I think
it is simple, you should believe in those who tell the truth.”
Chinese commentator Ye Kuang thinks
NTD is courageous to report the truth about China.
In addition, it has a good variety of programs.
He thinks that if China allows NTD to freely broadcast
in Mainland China, the programs will be even more exciting.
