【新唐人2013年12月12日訊】中國大陸近幾年頻頻傳出訪民集體自殺的維權事件。12月10號「世界人權日」，湖北武漢市江岸區12名拆遷受害戶，再次到北京集體喝農藥自殺，抗議當局暴力拆遷。
10號下午，武漢市江岸區的梅翠英、汪玉平、蔡惠琴、聶玉華、朱詩貴、何雪娟、蔡運生等12名訪民，來到北京天安門附近，把寫有冤情的橫幅擺在地上，然後集體喝農藥自殺倒地。
11號下午，梅翠英告訴「新唐人」，他們12人喝過農藥以後，嘔吐的不省人事，後來被送到了「北大醫院」。11號上午，武漢截訪人員把他們轉送到307醫院。
武漢市江岸區訪民梅翠英：「現在當地的截訪的把我們轉到307醫院，好像是搞到神經科裏面來了。當地政府上下忽悠，不解決我們的事情，在人到了絕望的時候才走上這一步。」
汪玉平說，他們感到徹底絕望，上訪3、4年，不但問題沒有得到解決，還經常遭到當局的恐嚇、威脅，關黑監獄、拘留等。
武漢市江岸區訪民汪玉平：「我們在當地拆遷這個事情，一直得不到解決，搞3、4年了一直受打擊報復。我們這次就是說拚死，在天安門那個西子門，我們遺書都寫好了，每人買了一瓶農藥，就想在那裏以死相逼。」
中共三中全會前夕，江岸區10多名拆遷受害戶就曾在家準備了農藥。到北京告狀時，被當地截訪人員以解決問題為藉口，截回到當地。當時，江岸區政府和武漢公安局，恐嚇他們說﹕「到北京自殺是違法。」
11月21號，30多名拆遷受害戶，向武漢市信訪局遞交「請求到北京集體自殺的申請書」。
「申請書」寫道：「我們是新春村七段組被強拆戶，三年以來，多次上訪無果，我們已經是身心俱疲，走投無路，身心受到多重打擊等，使我們對未來失去了希望，迫使我們只有到北京集體自殺，以解除我們的痛苦。」而在他們遞交「申請書」的當晚，街道辦事處人員給他們各自打了電話，說幫他們解決問題。但是，直到12月10號，訪民們仍然沒有等來任何消息。絕望之下，他們用殘害身體的方式來抗議不公。
據了解，2010年10月，武漢市江岸區政府以所謂城中村改造為由，對江岸區新春村啟動城中村拆遷。不同意簽字的住戶，就以違建的理由強拆房屋。
村民描述，2011年7月29號早上，600多名城管手持防暴盾牌、電棍、磚頭等，帶領11臺挖掘機進入七段村強拆，城管及拆遷人員對手無寸鐵的村民大打出手，其中有兩人被打重傷，幾十人頭破血流送進了醫院。
大陸《權利運動》組織發起人胡軍：「現在搞土地財政這一塊，進行房屋拆遷，對農民土地和城郊居民的房屋，還有土地進行強徵，這樣就把整個社會推向了另一個極端，老百姓賴以生存的條件已經完全喪失了。這樣把農民也好，還是城鎮居民也好，逼上了絕路。」
10號，江岸區塔子湖蘆家村的拆遷戶張三嬌、徐付芬等人告訴美國《大紀元》新聞網站說：她們也是被拆遷戶，當地政府不解決問題，11號她們8個人要到天安門去喝農藥自殺，反正沒有家了。
胡軍：「這個體制就是一個暴政搶劫集團，它肯定不會去解決這些問題。我們現在可以看到的維穩費用不斷攀升，官員的貪慾膨脹，經濟發展的已經沒有出路了，所以說現在對強徵、強拆這一塊，還會繼續加劇。」
胡軍認為，中共領導人習、李上臺後，並沒有四面開花，中共再想堵、想壓，就是螳臂當車了。

Petitioners go to Beijing to Commit Suicide
on Human Rights Day
There have been frequent occurrences of petitioners’
mass-suicide from China mainland in recent years.
On “Human Rights Day” on the 10th and 12th December
victimized households from Wuhan City in Hubei province
committed collective suicide by ingesting pesticide to protest
the authorities violent demolition in Beijing.
On the afternoon of December 10 and 12 petitioners including
Mei Cuiying, Wang Yuping, Cai Huiqin, Nie Yuhua, Zhu Shigui,
He Xuejuan and Cai Yunsheng from Jiang An district of Wuhan
city came to Tiananmen Square and placed grievance banners on
the ground, then committed collective suicide
by ingesting pesticide.
On the afternoon of 11th December, Mei Cuiying told
New Tang Dynasty TV, that they ingested pesticide
and vomited unconsciously.
They were sent to Peking University Hospital at first and
afterwards transferred to hospital 307 on
the morning of the 11th December.
Wuhan Jiang An District petitioner Mei Cuiying: Now local
authorities transferred us to the neurology department.
We are very desperate to take this step because the local
government just fooled us without solving the problems.
Wang Yuping said they feel very deep despair because after
three or four years of petitioning, not only has the problem
not been solved, but often they were intimidated, threatened
placed in black prisons and detention from the authorities.
Wuhan city Jiang An district petitioner Wang Yuping: the
problem of demolition has not been resolved for 3 to 4 years
and we have been suffering retaliation.
We prepared a bottle of pesticide for everyone and a suicide
note to petition with death at
the West Gate of Tiananmen Square.
On the eve of the Third Plenum, more than 10 families victims
of demolition from Jiang An district prepared
the pesticide at home.
They were intercepted locally using an excuse of
solving the problem.
At that time, local government and the Wuhan Public Security
Bureau threatened that it is illegal
to commit suicide in Beijing.
On the 21st November, more than 30 families being the victims
of demolition submitted a letter to the Wuhan petition office
to request collective suicide in Beijing.
Petition letter states: “We are the households of demolished
houses in the seventh section of new Spring village.
We have already exhausted all possible petitioning means
over a three year period.
We lost hope and have decided on collective suicide
in Beijing to relieve our pain.
On the evening of submitting the application letter, the
office staff called them and said they would help them
solve their problems.
However, until 10th December, petitioners still have not
received any new information.
In desperation, they used suicide to protest against injustice.
It is said that in October, 2010, the Government District,
Wuhan Jiang An district government committed demolition in the
Jiang An district new spring village with the excuse
of so-called transformation.
Houses with disagreeing households were
dismantled as illegal houses.
Morning of 29th July, 2011, villagers described that more than
600 inspectors armed with riot shields and electric batons,
bricks, etc. dismantled the seven sections of
the village with 11 excavators.
The urban and demolition workers fought against unarmed
villagers and caused two injuries; dozens of beaten people
were sent to hospital.
Continent “rights movement" organization promoter Hu Jun:
House demolition is for land financing.
Forced acquirement of land and demolishing of houses may
push the society to another extreme because it makes
people completely lose their conditions for survival.
It can force farmers and urban residents to ruin.
On 10th December, Jiang An district relocated villagers
Zhang Sanjiao, Xu Fufen, who told the U.S. “Epoch Times" media
that their houses were dismantled and the local government
does not solve the problem.
There are 8 people willing to go to Tiananmen Square to ingest
pesticide and commit suicide because of homelessness.
Hu Jun: This system is more like a robbery group without
solving any problems.
We can see stability maintenance costs continue to rise,
officials’ greed are expanding, economic development has no
way out, and now forced recruitment and demolitions
will continue to intensify.
Hu Jun believes that Chinese leaders Xi jinping and Li Keqiang
did not solve the real problem after taking office.
They continue along the corruption and authoritarian system,
which makes all people feel hopeless.
He pointed out that surrounded by civil protest, it’s more like
using a mantis to halt a chariot to somehow suppress them.
