【新唐人2012年7月28日訊】對於紐約的青少年們，現在正值暑假。如何讓假期生活過得既充實又有意義呢？一項紐約夏季青年媒體培訓計劃正在如火如荼的開展，下面我們就跟隨本臺記者李婉婷去現場看一看吧。
這次由城市公園基金會發起的「夏季青年媒體」計劃。為紐約的青少年提供了一次難得的學習實踐的好機會。可以教會您如何使用軟件創來做電影，同時也為想從事新媒體行業的青少年提供職業技能培訓。在學到知識的同時呢，青少年也可以在這裡結識朋友，分享享彼此的學習實踐經驗。
城市公園基金會成立於1989年，服務於紐約市五個行政區。為市民提供藝術，體育和教育等幫助。

Youth Made Media not only teaches production training it also becomes a safe haven and they learn to foster leadership skills and at the same time foster the networking and marketing of their program. So if for example they’re creating a documentary or narrative or telling a story they also market it through public access stations and put it on youth shows
在這裡學生們可以得到視頻和音頻製作系統的學習經驗，提高媒介素養，使紐約的青少年有機會表達自己的藝術靈感，培養領導技能，發現自己的才華。

You know I joined here.. Eddie seems pretty nice… he’s the supervisor everyone seems pretty nice, he taught me a lot, like he taught us how to use Final Cut Pro. And I found out that’s what the professionals use. So I thought oh, that’s really good, I feel proud of myself.

I choose Youth Made Media because it really appealed to me because it went into computers and drawings and those are two things I do enjoy doing.

We teach kids how to use cameras, how to storyboard and how to write scripts. We also teach them how to edit and create films using programs like Final Cut. We also teach them adobe software programs photoshop illustrator, just to create graphics and posters and things of that nature
這項培訓每週四天，向學生開放，熱愛電影的紐約青少年們，在這裡就是你夢的起點。
