在中共「十八大」期間，被強迫離開北京前往老家安徽的中國著名異議人士胡佳，11月12號，在他的博客上發表了對中共正在召開的十八大的十八項要求，他希望十八大是中共最後一屆黨代會。
他在博文中說，為了開這個會，中共各地的安保維穩系統都全力運轉，已經並正在大範圍侵犯國民的人權。這個會議每天都製造著國民的痛苦。他要求中共停止這種侵害，並向國民謝罪。
胡佳在文章中說：中共不是執政黨。執政黨是通過民主選舉，有了執政合法性的。而中共是通過暴力奪取並維持統治的政黨，它只是專政黨，是一個巨大的既得利益群體，豢養著強大的國家黑社會勢力。它掠奪和占有了國民創造的國家財富。貪婪而暴力。
在文章的最後，胡佳表示，希望通過民主選舉的形式讓中共以和平方式下臺，不要再發生流血的暴力革命。
美媒：習近平接班 面臨經濟困境
中共正在舉行「十八大」，將選出第5代領導人，習近平可望成為未來10年中共的頭號人物，但是，美國媒體分析認為，習近平將面對的是一個面臨經濟困境的中國大陸。
「華爾街日報」報導，過去5年，大陸經濟成長從2007年的超過14%，下降到今年第3季的7.4%，接近一半。而隨著經濟成長的放緩，勞動力也開始萎縮，預計從2015到2030年，大陸勞動人口將減少6900萬人，工資與出口競爭力也將下降，房地產、出口、國有企業利潤等各個經濟部門的數據也都在下滑。
報導說，如何結束經濟成長減緩，將是習近平最緊要的課題。
獄中多離奇死亡 朱虞夫懼同樣命運
據《自由亞洲電臺》報導，被杭州法院以「顛覆國家政權罪」判刑七年，正在浙江省第四監獄服刑的「中國民主黨」人士朱虞夫，目前健康急劇惡化。
他的家人11月13號對記者表示，朱虞夫患有嚴重腦血管硬化，高血壓，不能經受忽冷忽熱的氣溫變化，但是，監獄不允許他戴帽子，導致他一度昏厥，經搶救後脫險，但隨時有生命危險。
報導說，關押朱虞夫的第四監獄中，有很多法輪功學員離奇死亡，朱虞夫和他的家人都很擔心遭遇同樣命運，呼籲國際社會關注。

Hu Jia’s Eighteen Requests for the 18th Conference
Hu Jia, the well-known Chinese dissident, was forced to leave
Beijing during the 18th Conference.
He revealed his 18 requests for the 18th Conference
on his blog on November 12.
He hopes this is the last conference of the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP).
He stated that in order to hold this conference, the CCP used
all the security forces and strongly violated human rights nationwide.

He asked the CCP to cease such violations and to apologize
to everyone.
In his article, Hu Jia said the CCP is not the ruling party,
a ruling party should be legitimately elected by its people.
The CCP is a political party which gained its power through
violence; it is a specific political party, a huge vested interest group,
that depends on a powerful black society to rob the wealth
of the nation and its people through greed and violence.
At the end of his article, Hu Jia expressed that he hopes
the CCP will exit through democratic election,
steps down in a peaceful manner, and
avoid the bloodshed of violent revolution.
U.S. Media: Xi Jinping Will Face Economic Hardship
The CCP is holding its 18th Conference to elect
its fifth generation leader.
Xi Jinping is expected to be the top man of the CCP
for the next 10 years.
According to U.S. media analysis, Xi Jinping will face
economic difficulties in Mainland China.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the Mainland’s economic
growth in the past five years has declined nearly 50%,
from more than 14% in 2007 to 7.4% in the third quarter
of this year.
With the slowdown in economic growth, the labor force has
also begun to shrink.
From 2015 to 2030, the mainland’s labor force
will be reduced by 690,000 people.
Wages and export competitiveness will also decline.
The same is true in real estate, exports, profits of state-owned
enterprises, and other sectors of the economy.
The report says ending the economic slowdown
will be the most critical issue for Xi Jinping.
Zhu Yufu May Suffer Bizarre Prison Death
According to the Radio Free Asia report, the health
of Zhu Yufu, a member of the China Democracy Party
who was sentenced to seven years in prison,
is deteriorating sharply in prison.
His family told reporters on November 13, that Zhu Yufu has
severe cerebral arteriosclerosis, hypertension, and can’t tolerate
hot and cold temperature changes, but the prison guards have
not allowed him to wear a hat, which caused him to faint.
After being rescued, he is still in danger.
It is learned that in Zhu Yufu’s prison, many Falun Gong
practitioners have died mysteriously.
Zhu Yufu and his family are afraid that Zhu Yufu
may encounter the same fate
Therefore, they call on the international community
to give attention to this matter.
