上海盲人維權團天安門撒傳單被抓
上海盲人陳永成、胡憶中、鮑長興和被強遷戶吳士豪四人組成的盲人維權團隊，因多年維權未果，10月1號到3號，連續3天到北京天安門前拋撒上訪材料。3號下午，4人拋撒了800多份傳單，遭到十幾名警察抓捕，吳士豪被一名特警卡住脖子毆打。目前4人已被釋放。
30訪民北京西單乞討被抓
河北石家莊鹿泉市、張家口市和東北的30多名訪民，因為土地被強徵，房子被強拆，沒有生活來源，10月3號下午，到北京西單群體討飯，被警察帶走，目前情況不明。
歲半兒童缺氧死亡 家屬維權被抓
10月1號，江西省宜春市1歲半兒童楊季恩因高燒，被樟樹市醫院120救護車送往江西省兒童醫院，途中因救護車上的氧氣瓶沒有氧氣，導致孩子死亡。10月2號，孩子的父母和家屬去醫院討說法，遭到大批特警抓捕。目前情況不明。
無錫業主維權被毆打
近期 ，江蘇無錫市中心「玉蘭花園」四期完工，業主們發現所買的房子到手後，變成了另一個樓盤「玉蘭西花園」，配套全無。10月1號到3號，大批業主連續3天找開發商維權 ，被保安毆打，其中一名女業主，被保安踹倒在地 ……

Blind men from Shanghai were arrested for spreading fliers with rights defending information at Tiananmen Square
Blind men Chen Yongcheng, Hu Yizhong and Bao Changxing along with forced demolition victim Wu Shihao from Shanghai formed a rights defending group. From Oct.1 to 3, they came to Tiananmen Square to protest. They gave out their petition materials due to years of unsolved rights issues. On the afternoon of Oct.3, they were arrested by more than10 police officers after handing out 800 fliers. One policeman grabbed Wu Shihao by his neck and beat him up. The four men were released later on.
30 Petitioners Arrested in Beijing For Begging
Over 30 petitioners from Luquan City and Zhangjiakou City of Hebei Province and northern China came to Beijing to appeal about grievances over their land being forcibly taken and houses being forcibly demolished by local governments. Without a source of income, the petitioners were begging for food at Xidan in Beijing. They were taken away by police on the afternoon of Oct. 3. No one knows where they are now.
Baby Dies From Lack of Oxygen, Parents Arrested For Defending Their Right to Information
On Oct.1, one year-old Yang Ji’en in Yichun City of Jiangxi Province was sent to the provincial children’s hospital with a high fever. The baby died on the way to the hospital because the oxygen bottle on the ambulance was empty. On Oct. 2, the baby’s parents and other family members went to the hospital to seek accountability for the death. But they were all arrested by police. Their current situation is unclear.
House Owners in Wuxi Beaten For Defending Their Rights
A building was recently finished in central Wuxi City of Jiangsu Province. But house owners found out that none of the promised facilities were installed in the property. From Oct. 1 to 3, a number of house owners protested at the developer’s office. They were beaten by the security guards. A female owner was kicked to the ground.
